The Webmistress

I typically go by the nickname Kasko [kahs-koh] both in real life and on the web, though moreso on the web. I'm currently twenty years old, I'll be twenty-one in March. I'm often described as an odd sort, or weird. I'm not average on a lot of levels, but I tend to like it that way. My body functions on too much caffeine usually in the form of tea, and I'm typically zoned out and daydreaming about 90% of the time. I have the attention span of a gerbil, and I'm about 5'4 and not growing when it comes to height. Coffee coffee coffee; I adore this whether it's Starbucks or something else that's fantastic. I'm immensely addicted to music of all genres and languages; I'm not exagerating when I say this. I'm easy to get along with, though most of my friends are male. Not because I'm a typical girl, but because I just don't have a lot of common ground with females. I'm not super girly, I don't care about my nails, my hair is never fancy, and I'd rather wear my beat up pair of converse than heels. I'm rough, I like to wrestle, I dig tattoos &piercings, and I live for laughing until I cry. I lose myself in artwork, and I enjoy many hobbies including graphic &web design, fitness, photography, writing, video games, horseback riding, and other sorts. Immaturity irks me, as well as arrogance, ignorance, and other things along those lines. The way to my heart can be easily attained via chicken alfredo and Hershey's almond bars. I often bust out in random dance moves and air guitar. As far as dancing, I'm usually dancing to my own song playing inside my head. As far as air guitar, I make my own sound effects. I love long car rides to destination nowhere. I blare my music and sing as loud as I can when no one's home. I love sleep. I'll stay up until 3 in the morning laughing at retarded conversations with my friends and sleep until noon if you let me. On the flip side, I like being active when I'm awake and hate sitting in the house for too long on a nice day. Unless I have to. My idea of a good day is going the entire day without running into, tripping over, or dropping something. On a bad day, I'm pretty much klutzilla.

Social Life

I have very few friends I actually consider good friends, but I love these few very dearly. I'm picky when it comes to people, because I don't have many good experiences with actual good people. I have serious trust issues. I guess that's one of my more bitter sides. When it comes to love, I'm not entirely looking. I'm not into drugs or alcohol to have a good time, nor do I party or go to clubs a lot. Typically I just really enjoy hanging with my friends. It could sound lame to anyone on the outside, but in my circle we have the best of times just being our awesometastic selves. We roll happy shallow, and we're definitely marinating in awesomesauce. Hell, we're practically drowning in it.

Web Design Background

I started learning HTML when I was twelve modifying layotus to journal sites like GreatestJournal. I first started learning with Photoshop when I was about thirteen or fourteen. I've gotten really lucky when it comes to web design, and ended up catching a lot of breaks. I ended up getting CS2 from a friend of mine that I had met a few years back. Later on another friend of mine got their hands on CS3 and gave it to me because they had no real use for it. The better I got, the more I enjoyed it. I moved my coding to Myspace layouts, and made layouts for my friends. Eventually one of my friends had a friend that was really into computers and web design and really enjoyed my work she saw when I made this friend layouts and sorts. I eventually met her, and after talking for a while she offered to host me on her website domain. I was very flattered, and decided to take her up on her offer since I always wanted to run my own website. I consider myself lucky to have met the people I have, and very grateful that they have helped me get where I am today. Since then I have knowledge in journal layout coding, various types of Myspace layout coding, and website coding. It's a pain, but fun at the same time.

Art Background

I've been into art and drawing since I was able to know what it is and hold a pencil in my hand. I started off drawing animals, mostly orca whales because they were my favorite animal for the longest time. When I was around twelve or Thirteen I started trying my hand with Anime-style characters. I practiced with that for quite some time. These days I've started branching out more when it comes to what I draw and the style. I've kept the anime-style, but have since drawn other things as well. I use traditional media such as simple sketches and prisma colored pencils, but I think my main specialty aims towards digital artwork.
